Royal Mail and Parcelforce are merging into a single delivery network. This means all parcels will be processed through shared infrastructure. As part of this change, our current Parcelforce integration will be retired once the new solution is introduced and all customers have migrated to it.


Please note: This FAQ is updated regularly as new information becomes available. 

In November, we will start testing domestic label printing and manifests, then, once the tests are successful, move on to international labels. Last updated: November 18, 2025

Will there be any service interruptions during the transition?

We aim to make the migration as smooth as possible. You will be notified in advance of any changes that may affect your shipping process.

How will I be kept informed?

We will send regular updates via email and in-app notifications as soon as new information is available.

Will my existing Parcelforce integration stop working in August?

No, your existing integration will keep working until we fully migrate all customers over to the new solution.

Can I use the new Parcelforce integration to send parcels to the U.S.?

To ship parcels to the U.S., you need a Royal Mail OBA integration with BYD and BYH Services. The new Parcelforce integration offers different Services, so U.S. shipments must be sent through Royal Mail. More details can be checked here.

Will the Windsor Framework changes be supported in the new Parcelforce integration?

The functionality will be added in the second phase of the integration, as the first phase focuses on domestic label printing. If you need to ship parcels to Northern Ireland, please contact Linnworks Technical Support to be notified when the feature goes live.

Will dangerous goods be supported in the new Parcelforce integration?

Labels and Services Questions

No, you will be required to add a separate integration to ship with Parcelforce.

What should I do if the service I am using is being discontinued?Several services will be discontinued in the new Parcelforce integration. You can view the full list here. To continue using the integration, contact Parcelforce or Royal Mail to find a suitable replacement service.
How do I add Enhanced Compensation to my services?

Services with the appropriate COMP level can be selected from the Services dropdown. For details on identifying these services, refer to the article here.

Will label cancellation work with the new Parcelforce integration?

Yes, cancelling the label before filing the manifest will also cancel it on Parcelforce’s end.

Can I reprint the label with the new Parcelforce integration?

Yes, labels can be reprinted within 30 days of creation.

Can I modify the label after filing the manifest?

No, labels cannot be changed after the manifest is filed.

Yes, Delivery Notes/Safe Place details can be added by including an Order Note with the DN: prefix. More details are available here.

Is filing the manifest required with the new Parcelforce integration?

Yes, filing the manifest will be mandatory after migration, and you must print the related paperwork once it is filed.

Will the new Parcelforce integration offer a Delivery Confirmation option?

Yes, Delivery Confirmation can be set per service. The four options are: None, Adult Signature, Delivery, and Signature.

Will the new Parcelforce integration include an Age Verification option?

Age Verification is available as a separate service. To enable it, contact your Account Manager. It applies only to express10, express24, express48, and expressAM services.

Will the new Parcelforce integration support SMS and email notifications?

Yes, SMS and email notifications can be enabled per service, but they can only be requested if the order includes a valid phone number and/or email.

What custom documents can be printed with the new Parcelforce integration?

The new Parcelforce integration automatically generates a CN23 form and submits customs data electronically. You can also print a Commercial Invoice along with the CN23 for all international labels. To use this feature, make sure the setting is enabled during registration.

Will the PIN on Delivery services be available through the new Parcelforce integration?
Yes, if these services are enabled on your Parcelforce account, you will be able to use them in Linnworks.
