I want to understand how order cancellations work for sellers enrolled in the Amazon Easy Ship program, including how orders can be canceled and what factors need to be considered.


Solution


Orders can be canceled in two ways: by the buyer or by the seller.


  • Orders canceled by the buyer

    To make sure buyer-canceled orders are correctly flagged in the system, go to Settings > Channel Integrations > Edit Channel Details and enable Auto approve buyer cancellation requests:



    This setting ensures canceled orders are correctly marked and automatically moved to the Processed Orders screen.

    Keep in mind that the buyer can cancel the order at any time after placing it.

  • Orders canceled by the seller

    Sellers can cancel the order if the Easy Ship order has not been processed or shipped yet. To enable this, go to Settings > Channel Integrations > Edit Channel Details and enable Order Cancellations.
