Having a listing template in the system allows to have full control over the listing in Linnworks and change details of it from the system.
To have a listing template:
1. Listing needs to be created from Linnworks.
This requires adding all inventory details to Linnworks (Titles, Descriptions, Price, Images etc) > Create a configurator > Create Template > Create Listing.
2. Templates can be generated with the Extract Inventory tool for listings created outside of Linnworks.
Price Change
If only price has to be changed on the listing it is not necessary to have a template, it can be changed with Price Change tool. This tool is designed to work (if enabled) with the channel specific price that is defined under Listing Description tab for an Inventory Item.
