Please note this is a channel-specific article only applicable to Magento 1 and Magento 2.
1. Linnworks can only download and display order notes from Magento if the notes on Magento backend are added with the "Notify Customer by Email" option ticked and they display with the notion "Customer Notified".
2. Gift Option Messages will be displayed automatically if and when the feature is enabled on Magento.
3. Only applicable to Magento 2: Any item custom/configurable options will be downloaded and displayed on the order under the Items tab only if the respective setting is enabled in Settings > Channel Integration > Edit channel details > Order > Download custom/configurable item options when the order is downloaded. If the setting is enabled later, the order will need to be redownloaded. Please see steps for redownloading orders here.

Whether needed, then it is possible to manually add notes to orders in Linnworks:
a) Open Orders > double-click on order > Notes > Add Note
b) Open Orders > select order > right-click or Actions > View Order > Notes > Add Note
in the old Open Orders screen:
- find order > right-click > Actions > Edit Order Notes.
