Shipping - ShipStation: Test Connection fails with (500) Internal Server Error

Problem

When I go to ShipStation and Test Connection for the Linnworks Store, the following error message is being returned:

The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

Solution

This error may return if the URL is wrong in the URL to Custom XML Page field. Please ensure that it is copied correctly from Linnworks > Shipping > ShipStation > URL to custom XML page. If the information in the URL is correct, ensure that the email and password entered are the Linnworks account holder's ones.
