Problem

During the order import on ShipStation end the following error message is being returned:

Invalid XML. Error: “, hexadecimal value 0x1A, is an invalid character. Line 16, positions 9.’ We received: ‘.

Solution

The following error will prevent the orders from being imported into ShipStation and can be caused by the Order Note containing a hexadecimal character. Please review and adjust the Note to resolve the issue.

Alternatively, if the order note does not exist or does not contain any hexadecimal characters, check the order address and the order item details for the same character.
