Background
DPD has developed a new portal and API connection, and has confirmed that the existing API - which powers the current integration - will no longer receive updates going forward. All future functionality, including changes related to international shipping, will be developed and maintained exclusively within the new portal and API.
We strongly encourage you to begin the migration process now. While there is no confirmed end-of-life date for the old connection yet, starting early will give you the best chance to get everything set up and fully tested before peak season.
What's Available Now
We have already rolled out domestic services within the new integration. Support for international shipments, Channel Island and Northern Ireland shipments is actively in development and coming soon.
How to Get Started
Migrating to the new integration is straightforward. Here's what you'll need to do:
1. Request admin credentials from DPD Local
Contact your DPD Account manager or the Sales Support team to obtain your admin login for the new portal.
2. Log in to the new DPD Local portal
- Login to https://myadmin.dpdlocal.co.uk once you have the credentials and set your password.
- Locate your admin user:

- Locate the header titled "API Setting"

- Once you toggle the Enable API Access to on, you will be asked to verify your email address to confirm access.
The email will contain a link to that will prompt the Administrator to confirm they are trying to set up Key Access.
Once verified, the administrator will then be able to generate Sandbox and Live keys.
3. Generate the Live Keys
Once you select Add New Key, you will be prompted with your Key and Secret. Your secret is only shown once. Please make sure you copy and save it to your computer before closing this pop-up.
4. Get in touch with Linnworks support team and confirm that your new DPD Local keys are ready.
