Scenario

When trying to print a Deutsche Post label, the following error is returned:

The remote server returned an error: (422) Unprocessable Entity.

Solution

This usually happens when there is an unusual or invalid symbol in the order details (e.g., address, item title, SKU, or extended properties).

To fix the issue:

1. Check the Order

Go to Orders > Open Orders > open the order in question. Check shipping and billing addresses for odd characters. If nothing is there, under the Items tab, check the SKU and Item Title. If all is fine, under Extended Properties, check all fields for odd symbols.

If no symbol is located here, go to the next step.

2. Check Inventory Items

Go to Inventory > My Inventory > click on the SKU in question. Check SKU, Title, and Extended Properties (Description, Country of Origin, HS Code). Remove any strange characters and save. After that, try to print once more.

To change SKU, you would need to use the following import/export routine: here.
