Problem
When creating a variation listing on BigCommerce via Linnworks, the variation item weights look different than expected.
Cause
Weights for variation child SKUs can be taken from two places in Linnworks:
- Priority is given to the weight that is added as an extended property and linked to the Weight attribute in the BigCommerce configurator.
- If the weight attribute is not being used, the weight is taken from My Inventory > Product Details > Postage Definition.
Variation Parent SKUs will always display the maximum weight from all of the child SKUs, that are submitted to BigCommerce depending on the above priority.
