I have suggested this before - It's a great idea! When a child SKU price is updated, it should then automatically update the parent SKU cost price.

When creating a composite SKU...
It would be useful for us to have Composite SKUs automatically calculate their Purchase Price based on the child items that they contain.
This generated Purchase Price could then be over-ridden if required.
For us, it has a direct effect on reporting and calculating the cost of sales.
