Maybe you could treat the mains plug as an Child SKU and the electrical item as a Parent Item (Composite) with the item itself and the plug as compositions.
It would look something like this:
For instance ELC1001 is an EU Electrical Item that consists of ELC1000 (The main item) and PLG1000 (The EU Plug) such as below:
And you should map your Channel Items (hopefully variations) to your Composite Item - ELC1001.
Now, if a customer buys an ELC1001, your Pick List, Pack List and Invoice should display the electrical item that was purchased with the relevant plug.

It would be great to have the option for an action within the rules engine which adds an item to the order. We sell electrical items to both the UK and EU, so items need to go with the correct mains plug. It would also be pretty useful to add freebies to orders after a set of rules.
