Weight of composite items in invoice

I would like to request that you add a feature to enable the weight of composite items to be displayed on the invoice to help us speed up packing. For example:

SKU	Item Description	QTY	Location	Wegiht	Price
WSHRMMX100	Mixed Pack of Steel Washers	1	BIN:26	1250g	£11.99

The main sku shows the total weight, which doesn’t tell the picker how much of each component to pick.

But if the composites table was as below then we know exactly what to pick

Composites

SKU	Description	QTY	Unit Weight	Total Weight Composite
WSHR10	10mm Washer – 600 Units	1	250g	250g
WSHR20	20mm Washer – 600 Units	1	400g	400g
WSHR23	23mm Washer – 600 Units	1	600g	600g

If the customer ordered 2 of this item then the composites table wold like this:

Composites

SKU	Description	QTY	Unit Weight	Total Weight Composite
WSHR10	10mm Washer – 600 Units	2	250g	500g
WSHR20	20mm Washer – 600 Units	2	400g	800g
WSHR23	23mm Washer – 600 Units	2	600g	1200g

We have thousands of composite lines and this feature would improve our picking efficiency significantly.

Please could you implement it.

Hi Rich,

I can see how this can be helpful in your scenario, hopefully it will get some more votes so that we can review it again in the future.

At the moment we do not have the capacity to include this in the development plan.

For now you best solution would be to include the weight as part of you Linnworks Inventory Item Title, which will help your pickers / packers.
