Error: Could not get Magento attribute sets - Magento Configurator

Hi,

While setting up new Configurator for a Magento 2.1.6 store, I get this error:

Could not get Magento attribute sets.

I have already set attributes on my Magento Website. Can you please help me to resolve this error?

Note: I have not installed LinnLive Extension as it is only support until 1.9.x version.

Hello Ash,

We do not yet support Creation of Listings for Magento 2.*. That would be the cause of the issue. At the moment there is not ETA yet for when it will become available.

Thanks for your message.

However, as I understand that I am able to create Magento 2 Channel Integration successfully, its only Configurator that is posing the problem. Are they two separate things?

Hello there,

The Configurator is solely used to create new listings on a platform. It is not taking any part in order download or stock submissions, but only used to hold listing related values, like Specifications, Attributes etc. The issue here is that Magento2 itself is not yet supported with the listing creation process itself, so when you try to add the configurator - you are seeing that error. So at this moment creating new listings from Linnworks on Magento2 is not possible yet.

So just to confirm if I add Magento 2 as channel, I would still be able to Sync Stock Levels and be able download orders but not able to push listings (from Linnworks Inventory) to my website i.e. in Magento 2. Is that a correct understanding?

Hello Ash,

Yes that is correct - the order and stock control are there as for any Magento channel, the difference is that you can not create any new listings from Linnworks on Magento2 yet - only on the website directly and then map them in the Mapping screen in Linnworks to your stock items for stock control.
