We are integrating our shipping into Linnworks using Royal Mail's OBA to streamline the whole process and print out the 2d labels. Everything seems to be working fine except one thing - the end of day manifest/invoice.
The manifest created by Linnworks is not the same as the one produced by Royal Mail which has an abbreviated list of services (36 x 2nd class packet, etc) along with the total cost and - most importantly - our account details and a barcode that the postie scans when he collects the parcels. The manifest created by Linnworks is just a list of each package.
Can we produce the same Royal Mail type manifest/invoice through Linnworks or do we have to file the manifest in Linnworks and then log on to Royal Mail OBA to get our proper invoice with account details? I can't believe that's correct but I can't seem to find a way to generate what I need through Linnworks. I know a lot of people on this forum use this method of working so I'm looking for some help so we can get started with this process.
You've probably printed 'Consignments' file, not 'Manifest'. 'Print Manifest' option is available once manifest is filed, if you need to print the document before filing the manifest, go to Shipping > Integrations > Config > Print Current Manifest
Please note, that you will only get the correct file if integration is used correctly, as I didn't find any consignments printed through the integration on your account.
