Problem


I have tried printing a (New) Amazon Shipping label for an Amazon order and am seeing an error returned:


InvalidInput: Invalid input Incorrect itemIdentifier was detected in the item list. 


Solution


This error is usually returned when the Order Item is missing or incorrect. Amazon Orders in Linnwokrs should be identical to Orders on Seller Central, so any changes to items can cause further issues with label printing.


To check if the item was changed or deleted, go to Orders > Open Orders New > click on the Order ID in question > History > and search for the line that says Order Item deleted. This will explain why the error message is returned.


There are two options to fix the issue:


  • You can delete the Order from Linnworks and re-download it back with the correct set of items: Further Details here

  • You can try and print the label on the Seller Central directly.
