To print shipping labels from Linnworks please follow this guide to help you set up your thermal printer. Below guide is applicable to Zebra printers, however other printers have similar settings.

NB! Please ensure that you follow step 2 - B if you have the Seagull driver already installed and step 2 - A if you do not have this driver. Step 3 is an important step that would need to be checked once Step 2 is configured.

Step 1. Install your printer drivers

Please follow your printer guide to install the drivers. In order to support better quality when printing via Virtual Printer 2, you would need to install the Seagull driver.

Step 2. Configure Printing Preferences on your PC

Go to Settings > 'Printers & scanners' > Click on your printer > Manage > Printing Preferences

A) For Zebra printers not using Seagull drivers:

In Options tab make sure to configure the following settings:
        a) Speed 3;

        b) Paper format: Inches and portrait;

        c) Size: Width 4.00 and Height 6.00.

In Dithering tab make sure to select Dithering type as None.

B) For Zebra printers using Seagull drivers:

In Page Setup tab make sure to configure the following settings:

        a) Stock: Name - select a pre-existing template with the correct label size (width and height) or create a new template by clicking 'New'. In millimeters the 4 x 6 inch label size would need to be specified as 101.6 mm for the width and 152.4 mm for the height.

        b) Orientation: Portrait

In Graphics tab make sure to select Dithering type as None.

Step 3. Configure same settings in Printing Defaults

Go to Settings > 'Printers & scanners' > Click on your printer > Manage > Printer properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults.

If the button and some values are greyed out, make sure to click 'Change Properties' under the General tab first.

NB! Please note that Printing Defaults can overwrite your settings in Printing Preferences, so Printing Defaults need to be configured with all of the settings mentioned above in Step 2 including the Dithering setting.

Step 4. Your printer is configured and now can be added to Virtual Printer Client by following this guide.
