If any errors were reported during the export, then a warning triangle is displayed in the status of last export column to highlight that there has been an issue:
To see the error you need to check the Export Logs. Double-clicking on the row in the Message column in the logs will provide more details on the reported error.
Here are some examples of error messages and their explanations:
"Error: Loading data into export file.Transaction (Process ID 1121) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction."
This error is known as a 'Deadlock' error. It can occur when two different parts of the system try to access the same database field at the exact same time. To prevent further errors, the database is designed to pick one action over the other, terminating the latter action. Deadlock errors are extremely rare and cannot be predicted. We can, however, profile your system to try and catch future deadlocks, and this will help us to put measures in place to prevent them. Please contact technical support if this error appears on your exports often.
"The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error."
A 500 internal server error is an error that is out of our control. This error is generated by a website or FTP server that Linnworks is trying to connect to. If there is an error with a website and Linnworks cannot connect to it, then Linnworks simply passes this error for you to see.
Please try to re-run export once again and contact technical support if the issue persists.
"Error: Loading data into export file.Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException."
This error can be thrown if you are trying to export a large amount of data. Please try to divide your export into smaller parts by reducing the number of columns exported, or contact technical support for assistance.
"ErrorError:Reading data from database. The remote server returned an error: (530) Not logged in."
In the case of this error message, you can go to Settings > Import & Export data > Export data > click on Configure for that export > File location settings > click Next, and you will also receive an error message stating that the password or username is incorrect.
This error means that no file was exported to file location (FTP, SFTP, Dropbox, HTTP) because the system could not log in to file location server. This could be because the login details have changed. Please verify that valid login details are used.
