I want to bring this back to the top, as we deal with liquids, it'd be better to deal in litres than mililitres, I'd sooner not have to be stocking in the millions of ml if I can avoid it!
We have some goods that are sold by length also, and being able to sell in units of half a metre would be very useful.

We manufacture goods from materials purchased in units such as square feet or square meter. This sometimes means a PO will be delivered as 349.12 square feet, and there is currently no way of doing this as it only accepts integer values.
Same story for compositions, I'd like to be able to store composition data for a product using 0.25m of material etc.
