Considering we send out vast numbers of packets a day, we inevitably have things go missing or delivered late.
To help follow this up, it would be great to have some sort of automated check that contacts the courier automatically with a tracking number and returns the status.
In our case we use Royal Mail. To raise any sort of claim with them requires some serious legwork and keeping a check on tracking numbers is a right pain. Being able to find out all the late/lost deliveries in one go would allow us to efficiently build a query for all the details needed on their claim form. I am aware on Royal Mail having a tracking api as well, so integration shouldn't be too big a jump.
Any chance of this becoming a reality would be great.
