Yeah I've gone down this route with LW with the same answer! I agree it should be just down to the order number.
With the new eBay metrics coming out in March this needs to be addressed!
Hopefully, now eBay have updated their user agreement to state that tracking information must be submitted for all orders from the 4th March, Linnworks will now re-look at this and make it a high priority fix!
I guess we will have to watch this space!
yes and not to mention the amount of customers that then pull a fast one to try and claim they never received the item simply because it wasn't marked as dispatched
I really do hope linnworks pull their finger out and actually fix this rather than just give us an excuse as to why it can't be done
haider ali
if a customer orders item A, then messages in to say they would like to change it to item B, if we go into that order and manually change the order, then once that order is batch processed from Linnworks, it will not sent a dispatch note and tracking number to eBay or any of the other sales channels
Linnworks explanation for this is that due to the order being changed, it won't mark it as dispatched which seems like nonsense
If the customer themselves requested the change, as long as the order id is the same, it should mark the order on eBay as dispatched!!
Also eBay have benchmarks for dispatching items on time etc to achieve top rated seller status, so having a load of orders that according to eBay aren't even dispatched yet doesn't look good!
Surely this has to be common sense!!
