Adding this as this topic is saying implemented, but has no separate topic for this particular feature request.
Adding drag and drop for adding images to inventory would speed up our processes no end.
Quite often I'll be editing an image and then having to work my way through our folders to add the image(s) - highly frustrating when I'm already looking at the open folder in Windows Explorer.
