Rule for when out of stock changes to back in stock

Please could there be a way of creating a rule that means orders that haven't despatched because of a stock issue, then periodically recheck stock levels and can automatically be taken off hold when the item is back on stock and then auto-send back to their despatch rule?

Hi,

this could be achieved through a macro rather than a Rule

The Rules Engine run automatically when a paid order is first saved and has no means to be automatically executed again. It is also designed to not run against orders that are on hold.
