Product.Packaging_Group as and extended property in a configurator

Hi Paul,
at the moment there are no plans to expose an additional link to the Packaging tables for the Magento listing configurators

Ability to use Product.Packaging_Group as an extended property within the attribute section of a configurator.
Something I have been mentioning for the last few years, would save having to add an extended property as a packaging group when the data already exists in the inventory item.
Magento asks for a packaging group but there is no way of pulling in the data when listing without adding it as an extended property.
Product.Height, width and depth have been added recently.
