One of the great strengths of Magento is its layered navigation and the ability to create different attribute sets for products. Thus different types of products may have different sets of data and different layered navigation data.



One of the biggest limitations of Magento is that once you create a product with one attribute set you cannot change it.



Linnlive ONLY creates products using the default attribute set, so if you use Magento in is fullest and have different attribute sets you cannot create any products from linnlive.



It would be helpful if there was an interface with magento that pulls out the attribute sets (in the same way as it pulls out the categories) and allows the user to select one.
