Linnworks EPOS requires you plug the cash register directly into the PC. However the standard cash drawer has a RJ12 connection that is designed to plug directly into the receipt printer. To get a standard cash drawer to function you need a cash trigger module to connect the cash drawer to the PC. The problem is that theses cash register modules are essentially legacy devices that do not work with Windows 8 and required an earlier version operating system. You need to have a system that still operates on Windows 7 for this configuration to work with Linnworks.
Since the common typical set-up for POS printers and cash drawers is to have the cash drawer plug directly into the receipt printer and a single usb connection to the PC it would make sense in future revisions of Linnworks to support this standard.
