Bin/Location Number on the Dispatch Console

We don't use pick lists, we have infinity stock of small items that are picked on demand after printing the shipping label direct to envelopes. So we can rapidly scan the order id barcode of the printed order and then process the right stock into that order using a barcode scanner. Currently the dispatch console provided the title of the item and the quantity require, its then a hunting game from memory to locate the stock - not ideal for new staff. They only other way out it to skip, close and find the bin number in the inventory screen. Maybe a mouse over tool tip on the item giving the location would really help out keep the picking fast.

Hi,
I take it you mean the actual Process Order screen that is displayed after the Order number on the shipping label in Despatch Console.

This is has been completed for Linnworks.net and is due for release this week.

On the Process Order screen the Bin Rack location will now be displayed

Thanks for this, we are still unable to scan the bin number like we do in desktop in the dispatch console to prevent wrong items getting sent? When will this be integrated?

Hi Alex,
Sorry, but I do not understand what you mean here.

There is no where in Linnworks desktop on the Despatch console that you can scan a bin rack location to find an order, at least that I am aware of.

Also, the issue was that you did not know what the bin rack was in the first place which is why it is now displaying it on the Process Order screen so that you can find the item to pick it.

regards
Mark
