Scenario

My orders from Shipstation receive the default shipping service in Linnworks and I want to change this.

Solution

When an order from Shipstation is imported into Linnworks, it should ideally have a linked shipping service assigned to it, however, sometimes linking can be incorrect or missing, leading to a default shipping service being assigned to the orders.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Shipping service is present in Linnworks.

Log into your Shipstation account and in the Orders section check which Carrier and Service are assigned to the order in question. Once this is done, verify that both are linked in Linnworks with one of our services.

To do so, go to Shipping > Shipstation > Allocate:

Check the mapping screen and if the service is not present, find it in the drop-down list in Select ShipStation Service and map it with the appropriate Linnworks service in Select Linnworks Service list.

If the problem remains after linking for newly downloaded Orders, you would need to contact Shipstation Support to receive the Order Log file where the Carrier and Service names will be visible.

The file can be provided to Linnworks Technical Support for further investigation.

2. Shipping service is missing in Linnworks.

You would need to contact Shipstation Support to receive the Order Log file where the Carrier and Service names will be visible.

The file can be provided to Linnworks Technical Support and we can add the service to the system.

If the issue is still the same, feel free to contact Linnworks Technical Support!
