Printing customs forms starting from Wednesday, 3rd of February:
For international orders (and orders going to Channel Islands) sent via Royal Mail we will start offering two options:
- A commercial invoice printed to screen, when enabled via a setting called "Print Commercial Invoice"
And one of the following:
- A CN22 form printed alongside labels, when enabled via a setting called "Print Customs Forms", given that the total value of order items is under £270.
- A CN23 printed to screen, when enabled via a setting called "Print Customs Forms", given that the total value of order items is above £270.
The option that is currently appearing as "Print CN22" in the service settings (Shipping > Integrations > Royal Mail > Services > Edit) will be automatically renamed to "Print Customs Forms" on Wednesday, 3rd of February, which means that if you are printing labels for orders under £270 and you have that option enabled, there will be no change to your processes.
If you have the option enabled and occasionally print orders total item value over £270, then Linnworks will automatically produce the CN23 to screen without you needing to apply any changes. Printed CN23 form will need to be attached to the parcel in a transparent pocket and will need to be clearly visible.
