Linnworks Mobile Sales dashboard is designed to provide a quick glance at your sales performance. The dashboard includes a comparison with the previous period of the same nature, which gives you a clear growth indicator of the business over a set period of time.
To access the Sales dashboard, the user must have the following permission assigned in Linnworks.net > Settings > User Management > Assigned Permissions > System > Dashboards > Primary Dashboard.
The dashboard reports figures in the currency your system is set to use. Conversion rate from each order to your system currency is based on the rates from the time the order was downloaded/added to Linnworks, if you have currency change tracked. Unknown currencies will be set to a default rate of 1.
The dashboard reports the total order value (including tax, shipping, ex discounts etc).
To change dashboard parameters such as grouping and timeframe click on Time Frame title, by default it will be TODAY.

- Currency - The currency of the order - the actual reported figures will converted to your system currency
Time Frame selection
- Today - sales data from 00:00 to current time. Compares with yesterday from 00:00 to yesterday's current time. On bar and line chart time series is 1 hour.
- Week To Date - from Monday 00:00 to today's date, current time. Compares with last week's Monday to the current day of the week, current time. On bar and line chart time series is 1 day.
- Month To Date - from 1st of the month 00:00 to today's date, current time. Compares with last month's 1st 00:00 to the current day of the month. Note that in case of month comparison the dates will be adjusted to include a whole month only, for example. when comparing March 2020 with Feb 2020, if we are on 31st of March, the reporting period is 1st of March 00:00 to 31st of March, the comparison period is 1st Feb 2020 to 29th of Feb - essentially march data will include 2 more days. Bar and Line charts time series is 1 day.
- Year To Date - from 1st Jan to current date, current time. Compares with last's year 1st Jan to the current day of the year up to the current time of the day. Leap year's 29th Feb will be folded into and reported on 28th of Feb of non-leap year. Bar and line chart time series is 1 month.
- Day Of Week - from 00:00 of today to current time, compares with 00:00 of last week's current day of the week to the current time. Bar and line chart time series is 1 hour.
- Day Of Month - from 00:00 of today to current time, compares with 00:00 of last month's current day of the month to the current time. The tail end of the month will be adjusted. For example, when reporting on the 31st of March, we will compare with the 29th of Feb. On the 30th of March, we will compare with the 29th of Feb and so as on the 29th of March. Reporting on 29th of Feb we will compare with 29th of Jan. Bar and line chart time series is 1 hour.
- Day of Year - from 00:00 of today to current time, compares with 00:00 of last year's day of the year up to current time. Bar and line chart time series is 1 hour.
- Week Of Year - from Monday 00:00 of the current week to current day and time. Compares with last year's week, from 00:00 on Monday to current day of the week, current time. The week comparisons are based on the ISO week numbers. Bar and line chart time series is 1 day.
- Month Of Year - from 1st of the current month to now, compares with last year's 1st of the same month to the current day of the month and time. Same principle for date adjustment as in Month To Date is used when there are fewer days of the month (leap year). Bar and Line chart series is 1 day.
Visualization
There are 4 visuals for the dashboard:
- List - displays maximum top 8 groups, 9th is everything else, called Others. Shows percentage different from the previous period.
- Pie - displays maximum top 8 groups, 9th is everything else, called Others. Shows the percentage of contribution of each group to the overall sales figure.
- Bar chart - breaks down the data into time series, for example when we are looking at Today period - the sales will be broken down by hour, a comparison with the previous period will be shown as well. The coloured bar is the current period, gray bars are the previous period.
- Line chart - the same as a bar chart but represented as a line chart instead
