Note: WMS feature. In non-WMS location, there is no workarounds or substitutes for this functionality. 


While the stock in a particular binrack is booked for moving, or in transit (which is effectively in a state of being moved, i.e. taken off the shelf and being transported by, let's say a guy called John), this particular batch of stock cannot be counted. For a good reason, we don't know whether John has taken it off the shelf yet, and even if John did manage to log the fact that he has taken it off (which is unlikely because John has a life and not keen on entering absolutely everything into a system), and also because if we counted something before John turns up to pick it up the quantity he is expecting to move might not be what is physically there  - any way to avoid this confusion we simply block any interference with the stock while it's booked for the move.
