Problem


When testing your Amazon channel integration in Settings > Edit Channel Settings > Test the error message is returned:


Solution


This error is returned directly from Amazon when we make API call and it breaks all syncs and actions (including order downloading, stock level updating and listing creation). The error means that Linnworks is not authorised to perform any actions on your Amazon channel anymore. You need to log in to Amazon backend and renew Linnworks application authorization:


  1. Log in to your Amazon Seller Central.
  2. Go to Settings > User Permissions.
  3. Click Visit Manage Your Apps button. 
  4. Click Renew next to Linnworks. 


The issue should be resolved now, please confirm this by clicking the Test button again and it should have a successful result.


Please Note! Amazon always sends emails prior to the authorisation expiry with the guidance to follow. Please follow the guidance from the email to avoid this error.
