Please note this is a channel-specific article only applicable to Amazon.


When testing your Amazon channel integration in Settings > Channel Integration > Edit channel details > Test the error message is returned:


This error is returned directly from Amazon when we make API call and it breaks all syncs and actions (including order downloading, stock level updating, and listing creation). The error means that Linnworks is not authorized to perform any actions on your Amazon channel anymore. You need to log in to the Amazon backend and renew Linnworks application authorization:

  1. Log in to Amazon Seller Central.
  2. Go to Partner Network > Manage Your Apps.
  3. Click Renew next to Linnworks. 

The issue should be resolved now. Confirm this by clicking the Test button again and it should have a successful result.

NB! Amazon always sends emails prior to the authorization expiry with the steps to follow for reauthorization. Please follow the guidance from the email once received to avoid connection issues between Linnworks and Amazon. Application Authorization tokens expire approximately once every 12 months.
