Note: At time of writing, the scaling and margin settings in the DPD configuration page do not apply to Zebra printers so should not be adjusted if printing via Zebra.
  • The required label size for a DPD label is 4 x 4 inches. Anything other will be rejected.
  • If after printing, the layout gets cut off, reset the printer settings to default.

USB Connected Printers

Printer utilities are available for Zebra printers such as this one for the GK420D. Zebra Setup Utilities v1.1.9.1122.

  • Open the Utility.
  • Navigate to Tools > Actions > Load Factory Defaults

If the layout remains cut off, adjust the printer settings.

  • Device Printers > Printer Preferences > Adjustment Left Position [a positive number moves the layout to the left]

Network Connected Printers

Type the printer's IP address into a web browser. This will navigate to the printer's settings page where the settings can be adjusted.
Look for a left position setting and adjust until the label scales correctly.
