This occurs when there is an instance of Linnworks Desktop already running.

If you have Linnworks Desktop already running, it needs to be closed.

If this error re-occurs, check the Windows processes:

  • Open the Windows Task manager 
  • Select the Processes tab. 
  • Find finawareStockControl.exe 
  • Right Click > End Process 

Restart Linnworks and try to run the updates.
